The short version

We build custom party games from what you tell us, and a human reads every line before it ships. Your answers, photos, and your guests’ confessions are used to make your games — never sold, never fed to an ad machine. The receipts live for 12 months after your event, then we delete them. Who you’re dealing with

Bach & Forth is run by Kin & Mischief LLC, registered in Flintstone, GA. Bach & Forth is a Kin & Mischief LLC brand.These terms apply when you buy a game, play one, or drop a confession into a collector someone sent you. If you’re reading past this sentence, you officially have our respect.

What you’re buying

Custom, fully digital games written for your party from your intake answers. Everything is ready in your dashboard at least 48 hours before your event date; games that gather guest material close their collectors 24 hours before the event and are finished before the ceremony. A human reviews every game before it reaches you.

Digital means digital: games play in a browser, on phones and a cast screen. Nothing to install, nothing to print — we don’t do PDFs on principle.

Orders are event-dated. Checkout needs your event at least 7 days out, and each weekend has limited slots — if yours is full, the date picker says so and offers the next one.

The AI part, in plain terms

You checked the box: games are built by AI, tuned by humans, blamed on the group chat. Here’s what that means. Your game content is generated with AI from your answers, then tuned and reviewed by a human before delivery. Some games also use AI live during play — judging dares, polishing bluffs, tossing one-liners — with budget guardrails and human-written fallbacks, so a party never stalls on a server.

Two promises. Your content goes to our AI providers only to build and run your games — not to profile you, not to advertise to you. And we never AI-alter real faces: photos you upload appear in games and recaps exactly as you gave them.

Spice, ceilings, and off-limits

You set a starting spice level and a ceiling. The ceiling is law — it’s enforced on our servers, it never rises mid-party, and nothing above it ever renders, no matter whose phone is asking. Your off-limits topics are honored everywhere: questions, reveals, banter, forfeits.

Some lines hold at every level, including 5: nothing illegal, nothing non-consensual in its framing, no mockery of who someone is, and drinking is never required — every drink prompt comes with a non-drinking alternative. Bach & Forth is for adults (18+). You know your room; the dials are yours.

Accounts, guests, and the Full Band

Buying needs an account — email and password, Google, or an emailed sign-in link (no password, no drama). Your games, party controls, and Recap hang off it.

Your guests never need accounts. A room code and a first name is the whole identity. Players who want the weekend on the record can sign in with a magic link — we use that email to sign them in and to send them the Recap Reel, nothing else. Sign-in links work once and clock out after a few hours; fresh ones are self-serve at the join screen. One inbox, one identity: if two of you share an email, the scoreboard will treat you as one very busy person.

Your stuff and your privacy

What we collect: your account email; your intake answers (including your off-limits list); up to 10 photos if you add them; what guests drop into collectors; and the material your party generates live — scoreboard names, answers, votes, dare proofs.

What we do with it: build and run your games and compile your Recap. That’s the list. We don’t sell it, rent it, or share it for marketing. Collector contributions are anonymous by design — no guest accounts, no guest emails, ever — and sealed answers stay sealed (yes, even from the MC) until the game opens them. We send email to the buyer and to players who signed in for the Reel; nobody else hears from us.

Who touches it on our behalf: Stripe processes payments (card numbers never touch our servers), Google Cloud/Firebase hosts the games and data, Resend delivers our email, and AI providers process content to generate your games. We use the minimum browser storage needed to keep you signed in and in your room — no ad trackers.

The Recap and the clock

Party media and recap content are kept for 12 months after your event date, then deleted on schedule — the Reel says so right on its face. Save what you want to keep. Want it gone sooner? Email hello@bachandforth.aiand we’ll delete your party’s media early. No questions — well, one: “are you sure?”

Money: payments and refunds

Payments run through Stripe; your card statement will read “Bach & Forth.” Prices are in US dollars, shown in full before you pay.

Refunds, honestly: full refund any time before generation starts — that is, before the engine begins writing your games. Once writing begins, you’re paying for work already in motion, so refunds become judgment calls: email us and we’ll be reasonable. After delivery, refunds are goodwill, same address. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method.

Plans change: dates

One date change per order is free, capacity permitting — email hello@bachandforth.aiand a human moves your weekend; any open collectors re-open and re-close against the new date. There’s no self-serve reschedule, on purpose: rescheduling by hand is how nothing falls through the cracks. Need to move it twice? Talk to us anyway. We’re not monsters.

The part a lawyer would bold

Bach & Forth is entertainment, provided as-is. The MC chooses the spice level, the ceiling, the off-limits list, and who gets a collector link — choose like someone who knows the room, because you are. If something in a delivered game is genuinely wrong, start with the refunds section: we’d rather fix a party than argue about one. Our total liability for any claim is capped at what you paid for the order. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA. If we change them, the new version lands on this page with a new effective date.
